Hello Fellow Hackers,

Hopefully everyone has gotten all their new equipment and gear ready for the upcoming Hacker's season.   Since the baseball season is starting and the 1st PGA Major of the year, The Masters, starts on thursday, might as well include the start of the 2016 Hackers Season.

This will be our 10th season playing this wonderful yet frustrating game.  This group started with 16 people playing a 1 day tournament that has evolved into 4 major tournaments and a season ending team championship.  Looking forward to another fun season!

The first major of the year has been set.  It will be at the Silver Lake Golf Club in Orland Park.  We will be playing on the North Course.

It's been awhile.  I know it's a little later than I would have like to get the schedule out for this year, but things have been a bit busy.  Manny and I worked out the dates, and we're still working on the courses for this year, so venue is still to be determined.  The championship for this year we're still deciding on but we've targeted a few dates for you guys to clear out.  Attached is the schedule in word and in the body of the e-mail.  Hope to see you all out this year!

Tomorrow is the day and it looks like the golf gods are going to bless us with perfect golf weather!

Team HAKAer - ALL Blacks led by Capt'n Kalpesh vs Team Blue Shankapotamus led by Capt'n Vi

Our first tee time will be at 906am, for those who need the practice the range opens at 700am.

We will playing the NORTH to SOUTH courses.  The Capt'ns group will decide either the Blue or White Tee Box while the remaining groups will be hitting from the White.  There are NO mulligans in the championship.

Hello Fellow Hackers,

First of all, thank you everyone for another great 2013 Hackers Season.  In addition to the our veteran members there was a good amount of new players this year.  Thank you again to everyone who has participated in our majors this season.  

Thank you everyone who participated in our past event.  The first June Major had some water while the second major brought the heat.  Overall hopefully everyone had a great time.  The scores are up under the June Major tab. We are still in the process of updating the player profiles.  

July will be busy golf month for most of us, not only do we have the July Major but we also have the 2nd annual Golfers FORE the cure golf outing at the Traditions at Chevy Chase Golf Course in Wheeling, Illinois on July 14.  A big thank you for those participating in this great cause.  The event is at maximum capacity as of right now but there is a waiting list so please email Brian Bautista:  [email protected], if you are interested.

Thank you everyone who has participated in our May Major.  The scores are up under the May Major tab.   

Now to new business, the course and dates have been set for the June 2013 Major.  We will be taking are hacking skills south to the Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park, IL.  There has been a slight change in dates from the original due to golf course scheduling.   The two majors will be on Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 23.  The price is $60 riding or walking.  The first tee time for each day is 900am.  Sign up is now open so hope to see you there.

The first major of the 2013 season is all set.  Hopefully spring will finally arrive so we can get some golf in.  The first major of the season will be at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club in West Chicago, Illinois.  We tried to get the old course in Scotland but they couldn't give us a discount on the airfare.  

The two dates are:
Saturday May 11 and Sunday May 26.  We will be starting both days at 1000am.  
$49 to walk and $66 to ride.
