Hackers Chicago, formed in late 2006, is a not-for-profit organization that was created to promote golf among a select few.  Hackers Chicago is a members only organization and members are required to attend at least 2 Majors. The golf season for Hackers Chicago will comprise of 4 monthly Majors and a  Team Championship.  There will be 2 weekend days a month to make a Major. Scores and stats will be posted on this site, which will help the Hackers Committee determine the teams for the Championship. All decisions made by the Hackers Committee will be final.  
One major change we have made this year is to have a champion for each major.  To determine each major champion we will be using our current handicap system so everyone will have a chance regardless of how they score compared to others.  A prize will be awarded to the major champion at our Team Championship in September, therefore in order to qualify you must play at least 2 majors as well as the championship.  If the person who has won the major does not play in the championship the 2nd place winner will win the award and so forth.  For new players, we ask that you give us your handicap score and with the two majors you will have played we will determine your Hackers handicap.  More details to follow.

Welcome to the 2011 season, we look forward to another great season with all our current members and new ones.  The first course has been chosen already (pending availability)  and to start things off we have decided to play the May major at the Highland Woods Golf Course in Hoffman Estates, IL.  We will be teeing off from the blue tees.  Please visit the May Majors page to sign up!
